3rd Year Project - Launch Park

​

The structure designed for the planned surfing competitions in Urla includes a cafe, sports shop, cabins, and public seating elements. The design of the structure made use of data from Rhino Grasshopper.

In the project design, great care was taken to advance the design with minimal interference with the coastal texture. Walking paths were designed as a tartan surface, considering the user profile.

To enhance the longevity of the structure against corrosion, it has been clad with corten. Only 45% of the total project area is comprised of the designed structure and landscape elements, while the remaining 55% of the area has been left untouched to preserve the coastal texture.
