2nd Year Project - House for Artist Couple and Art Community

This house was designed for the artist couple who want to live in Izmir, Daragaç. The clients were illustrator and mime. They represent their art visually without using sound. That's why I focused on monumental volumes for Daragaç, because this is a place where inspiration spills out of you into the street and turns into art.

As soon as we enter the building, a drawing studio welcomes us on the ground floor. This part is a public area. When we move towards the back, the kitchen and living room greet us. I designed two firepits to create gathering areas outdoors. People can sit here and have a good time.

On the first floor, an open library overlooking the gallery space welcomes us. When we continue, there is a master bedroom and a guest bedroom.

On the top floor, there is a mini winter garden and a stage for the mime artist to rehearse. There is also a large terrace where they can watch the sunset.
